A Homely Retreat in Dibrugarh – Bhaskar Homestay

Date: December 12, 2021
Location: Bhaskar Homestay, Dibrugarh, Assam

After a long and quiet pause caused by global travel restrictions, Bhaskar Homestay recently reopened its doors to international tourists — and with great joy, welcomed its first batch of foreign guests in over two years.

The group, comprising friendly travelers from Lithuania, Ukraine, and Russia, marked a significant moment not only for Bhaskar Homestay but also for tourism in Arunachal Pradesh. These adventurers were the first to apply for and receive the Inner Line Permit (ILP) required to enter Arunachal Pradesh since the pandemic began, making their visit even more memorable.

The cheerful photo taken outside the homestay captures a blend of cultures, smiles, and a shared love for travel. From warm Assamese gamochas draped around their necks to their casual, relaxed attire, everything about the scene speaks of comfort, community, and the genuine connections that make travel worthwhile.

The return of international tourists signals a hopeful restart for the tourism sector in the Northeast. Bhaskar Homestay, known for its hospitality and cozy ambiance, is once again buzzing with the sound of different languages, shared meals, and stories from around the world.

This visit serves as a reminder that travel is not just about destinations—it’s about people, stories, and bridges built across cultures. Bhaskar Homestay is proud to have played a role in reviving that spirit in Arunachal Pradesh.
